Description:

Bad Company takes the open-level play of the online, multiplayer-oriented Battlefield games and makes it more personal -- and more profitable. In a relatively extensive single-player campaign, gamers take the role of a renegade soldier in the near-future, who joins three of his brothers-in-arms to go AWOL in search of personal fame and fortune. A variety of land, air, and sea craft become available during their adventures, along with an arsenal of powerful weaponry.

As seems to be common among modern mercenary video game heroes out for profit, the soldiers of Bad Company have an appetite for destruction. The game features destructible environments, which become part of the gameplay. Buildings, barriers, and the earth itself can be disrupted with the right firepower and players are encouraged to use their ability to alter the battlefield in order to complete mission objectives.

In addition to the single-player modes, Battlefield: Bad Company features online play with support for 24 players. Along with established Battlefield multiplayer game types, Bad Company offers a "Gold Rush" mode, in which teams take turns at offensive and defensive roles in destructible, re-shapeable battlefields. The game is the first to run on EA DICE's "Frostbite" game engine, designed for destructible 3D action in high-definition.

Controversially, EA's initial release of Bad Company is available in two packages: a regular edition and a "Gold Edition." Ten additional weapons for the game are available as downloadable content, after the main game is purchased. Five of the weapons are available for free and the other five can be purchased for a fee by regular edition owners. The "Gold Edition" of the game includes the otherwise pay-to-play downloadable weapons.

Brink is a multiplayer shooter set in a future in which almost the whole earth is flooded by water. The Ark is one of the last inhabitable places left, but there is a conflict between the security guards and the resistance. Now they are in open conflict and try to get the upper hand. The game features two single-player campaigns, but those are practically the same as the multiplayer, just with bots and cutscenes.

Every map has several areas, all with their own goals. Of course the goals of security and resistance are opposed, so for example in one area the security first has to blast the gate to the rebel hideout and the resistance has to foil their plan while pursuing their own goals. All those goals need the use of one of the four classes: the soldier is responsible for brute force, medics heal their buddies, engineers can use gadgets and agents hack computers. Overall there are four basic mission types (escorting, destroying, defending and using a device) along with class specific goals. Brink utilizes an automatic mission system, meaning if a player soldier starts the mission "planting a bomb", all other players receive the mission to defend him. Performing those missions rewards experience points which can be used to upgrade the player characters and unlock new abilities for them.

Overall the focus in this game lies on teamwork, and there are many ways for the classes to help each other out. If there is the need for a specific class, the player can always change his class from an in-game terminal. When creating a new character, the game offers many options for individualizing; but this has only optical effects. The once exception are the body measures; a big guy can use big guns while a light character is faster. The latter has also access to the so-called "SMART" system, which allows to climb over obstacles or sliding over the ground when holding a button.

Game Features:

The game takes place in the year 2065 in Hong Kong. The city is suddenly attacked by a hostile force known as the Republic, led by a rogue Chinese general named Yan Lo. An international peacekeeping force stationed in Hong Kong, known as the Liberty Coalition, is tasked with defending the island from the invasion.

The story follows Liberty Coalition 2nd Lieutenant Nathan Frost, who is critically injured in a surprise attack by the Republic while attempting to save the life of a wounded soldier. He is rebuilt by the Coalition using experimental nano-technology. Using the powers granted to him by his nano-technology augmentations, Frost spearheads the Coalition's counter-attack against the Republic, eventually rescuing a defecting Republic scientist named Dr. Joseph Liaw. Dr. Liaw informs Frost about a Description by General Yan Lo known as Project: Snowblind.

Wreckage Crysis - Mod for Crysis, which was named one of the best mods of the original game. Wreckage - The final part of the story, which begins on the map "The Harbour" and continues to be modified "Rainy Days" telling the story of three soldiers who are trying to survive in a devastating war between two worlds.
